Community Connections
Action Team
The goal of Community Connections is to strengthen and increase neighborhood-based networks of family support. In doing so we are strengthening families, building communities and preventing child abuse and neglect. This is accomplished through collaboration efforts with families, providers and people within the community.
WHAT IS COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS?
In 1995, with DSS funding, eligible communities were able to create a community based group to develop Community Connections.
The Framingham Community Connection Action Team is under the auspices of the Framingham Coalition for the Prevention of Alcohol and Drug Abuse
Its main focus is to build on the strength and diversity of the Framingham Community south of Route 135 and east of Route 126.
